All Nuja pieces are cut on the bigger side of each age range — so a 2–3Y fits closer to a 3-year-old than a 2-year-old. Measurements below are in inches, taken from the garment (not the child).
How to measure
Length — from the top of the shoulder to the hem of the dress.
Chest — the fullest part, from armhole to armhole (flat), doubled.
Waist — around the natural waistline.
Shoulder — across the top of the shoulder, seam to seam.
Between two sizes?
Go up. Nuja pieces are meant to be worn a season or two — better to have room to grow than not enough room to breathe.
All measurements are approximate — velvet has slight give, and each piece is made by hand.
